GOLETA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Deckers Outdoor Corporation (NASDAQ:DECK) announced today that it has appointed Jeffrey Bua as Teva Brand President. In this role, Mr. Bua will be responsible for all aspects of the Teva brand and will report directly to President, Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board of Directors, Angel Martinez. Mr. Bua replaces Joel Heath as Teva Brand President who has left the company to pursue other opportunities.

Prior to joining Deckers in 2011 as MOZO Brand President, Jeffrey Bua was instrumental in driving improved results at several footwear companies including RG Barry Corporation, Hi-Tec Sports, UMBRO and Reebok. His senior level roles have included overseeing key functions such as new business development, brand development, sales & marketing, product development and customer service. During his nine year tenure with Reebok which included positions as Product Marketing Manager, National Account Sales Director and Senior Director of Sales Operations, Bua helped achieve number one positions in tennis, basketball and fitness.
